We are looking for dentists and hygienists to work in one or any of our surgeries on a part time or full time basis. It would be ideal if the dentist could complete molar RCT’s, as you would be referred these by other dentists in our surgery. My preference is for dentists to work for 4 days per week generally, as most find regularly doing more than that very tiring and most doing no more than 4 days are happy to pick up occasional extra shift if need be. We have 3 practices located in Grafton, Coffs Harbour and Urunga NSW, Grafton by far being the busiest. Grafton is a great city which has the Clarence Valley running through it, meaning lots of fun water activities. With a vibrant arts community, great restaurant, good schools and local sporting fields there is always something to do. We have the annual Jacaranda Festival and July race carnival, one of the biggest horse races in Australia (these are local public holidays). The surgery currently operates two chairs but we are in the process of putting in a third and are about to start renovations to further expand the practice. There are three dentists, a hygienist/therapist and a therapist. All three are part time at present but we hope to change this when extra surgeries are up and running. We also have an OPG machine, Britesmile machine and a rotary endodontic setup. Coffs Harbour (50 mins south of Grafton) apparently has the most comfortable climate in Australia. It is a larger city than Grafton which also has a thriving arts community and great restaurants throughout the many suburbs. There are also great schools and sporting opportunities. It has lots of beaches and lagoons and has a Marina and yacht club. There is lots to do, including golf courses, horse races, shopping and lots of attractions which bring in the tourists. The surgery has two chairs, from which 4 dentists, 2 hygienists/therapists and another hygienist work. We also have an orthodontist who sees patients on a monthly basis and a denture prosthetist who sees patients on a weekly basis. The surgery has facilities for the use of RA (happy gas) and IV sedation. Urunga (20 mins south of Coffs Harbour) is located on an estuary where the two rivers meet the sea. It is exceptionally picturesque and is quite close to another small town, Bellingen, which also has beautiful scenery and is very unique. The surgery in Urunga operates two chairs with 3 dentists, 1 hygienist/therapist and another therapist, the orthodontist, prosthetist and an implant team attending on a monthly basis.
